4. When you arrive at the clinic, we will provide you with hand sanitizer, take your temperature and ask you screening questions.

2. There will be a limited number of people allowed in the waiting room at a given time.

3. Plexiglass barriers will be placed at the front desk.

Dental Bonding

Have you or your dentist noticed small breaks, chips, or cracks in your teeth? If left untreated, these issues can get worse over time.

A cosmetic dentistry treatment called dental bonding can quickly repair dental issues like these, without crowns, veneers, or surgery.

Learn how Drs. Wong and Lee of Vitacare Dental Centre in Coquitlam, BC, can repair tooth flaws quickly and affordably with bonding.

What Does Dental Bonding Involve?

Day of Procedure

First, you will discuss your cosmetic dental and oral health goals with either Dr. Wong or Lee. Alternatively, your dentist may suggest bonding to correct minor teeth imperfections discovered during a comprehensive exam at our Coquitlam, BC, practice.
Next, a composite resin will be customized to match the shade of your affected tooth and existing teeth around it.
Dr. Wong or Dr. Lee will then use their cosmetic skill to apply the composite resin to your tooth, filling cracks or even reshaping it, if needed.
Finally, a special curing light will be used to harden the resin so it bonds securely with your tooth. Once the resin is completely bonded, your dentist may polish the area to smooth the tooth's surface. That's it. You are ready to smile with confidence.

What Can Dental Bonding Repair?

This versatile dentistry procedure can be used to conceal or fix dental flaws, such as:

  • Minor breaks
  • Small chips and cracks
  • Tooth discoloration
  • Small cavities
  • Small gaps between teeth
  • Misshapen teeth

Six Benefits of Dental Bonding

Number one

The bonding process itself is 100 percent painless. However, if decay needs to be removed from a tooth first, a numbing anesthetic will be needed to keep you pain-free before the bonding resin is applied.

Number two

Depending on your individual needs, bonding can be completed in an hour or less during one visit.

Number three

This procedure can cost hundreds of dollars less than other cosmetic dentistry procedures like crowns or veneers. It may even be covered by insurance.

Number four

With regular exams and proper brushing and flossing, the composite resin on your teeth could last up to a decade.

Number five

When used to fill a cavity, tooth-colored bonding material looks much more lifelike than old-fashioned metallic fillings.

Number six

Great for All Ages

Dental bonding works great on both children's teeth and adult's teeth.
